SEMINOLE, Fla. - A Seminole man called 911 Thursday night after, deputies say, his daughter refused to go buy him some beer.
Pinellas County deputies say Robert Hagerman, 56, called 911, and told dispatchers that his daughter was on drugs, throwing things and hitting him.
When deputies arrived at the man's home just after 11 p.m., they found Hagerman "very intoxicated and uncooperative," according to a report.
The man's daughter told deputies that Hagerman had called the emergency number because she wouldn't buy him a beer.
In order to coerce her into purchasing beer, he apparently threatened to lie to law enforcement.
The woman recorded the threats with her cell phone, and played them back for deputies.
Hagerman was charged with making a false report of a crime.
