PINELLAS PARK, Fla. - A early morning traffic crash mostly shutdown the intersection of 66th Street North and 86th Avenue North in Pinellas Park.
All northbound lanes are closed at this time with only one southbound lane open. Drivers are asked to use Belcher Road, or 60th Street North as a detour.
Pinellas Park police report that a truck crashed into a utility pole and fire hydrant at the intersection just before 1 a.m. Sunday.
Police estimate the intersection will be closed for the next five hours as crews work to repair the pole and hydrant.
No injuries were sustained in the crash.
The driver is facing possible non-criminal charges.
