INDIAN ROCKS BEACH, Fla. - Indian Rocks Beach YMCA Day campers took a break from their fun in the Sun to learn a bit about how and why weather affects us all.
"We get to see a lot of really intense weather here, don't we?" I asked the 75 or so bright eyed kids-on-Summer-break, with ages ranging from 6-12. "So you really have to pay attention!"
And pay attention they did.
Surrounded by their poster-sized salutes and greetings, we were able to talk about severe weather, how it impacts us all, and how we can use new tools like Storm Shield to track potential problems almost instantly.
