RUSKIN - Just kindergartners at the time, a group of students, now seniors at Lennard High School in Ruskin, reflect and remember the 9/11 attacks.
"I did get signed out of school because I do have a family member that worked in the trade center," Brandie Alligood remembers.
Alligood says her uncle didn't survive, something she shared with her 12 grade class for the first time today, as they remembered, as a group, September 11th, 2001.
"It's a sad memory but one I'm glad I remember… because as generations come, they won't be there to remember. I was in kindergarten when it happened, so i'm sort of the last grade that will remember it."
