BRADENTON, Fla. - Charles Ross has made quite a name for himself orchestrating pranks and posting them on YouTube.  But the Manatee County teenager may have gone too far when he pulled the pants of movie theater patrons.

He said he just wants to make people laugh.

But not everybody thinks he's so funny.

One person was so upset when Ross allegedly attempted his wedgie prank, he called deputies.

That put Ross in jail, and it's not the first time.

While some actually embrace his behavior, others are repelled.

It's the shock value Ross goes after.  He enjoys streaking through his city in underwear, showing off some athletic ability and posting it on YouTube.

"I kind of expect each of my videos to get attention, good or bad," said Ross.

Ross is brazen.  He kisses women while they are obviously with a boyfriend or husband.

A prank asking about trust, where Ross falls and sees if someone will catch him landed him on a national morning show this past week.

The attention inspired his next project.  Over the weekend, Ross said he and a friend decided to film his next video at a movie theater in Bradenton.

"The idea was to give strangers wedgies," Ross said with a grin.  "It sounds funny, but it's not funny when you are the one getting the wedgie."

Despite knowing that, Ross said he did it anyway because, "My videos are meant to make people laugh," he said.

"I totally understand why someone would get mad, why they would want to press charges, why they would want to hit me," said Ross.

He could be facing some pretty serious consequences.  He is charged with misdemeanor battery for the movie theater prank and violation of probation.

Back in September, deputies arrested him for another prank he pulled.

He said the arrests might curb his behavior, and that he has learned a lesson.

"Some people get offended, and others don't. It was definitely crossing a boundary by pulling someone's underwear out of their pants," said Ross.

Ross said he's waiting for deputies to issue another warrant for his arrest but he'll continue to create his videos.

He's already back practicing his next moves and flips for his next video.
