SARASOTA - Sarasota Police are asking for the public’s help in finding the the man who robbed a CVS store Sunday afternoon.
The robbery occurred at 3709 N. Tamiami Trail, 18 minutes before 6:00 p.m.
The store’s surveillance camera captured the suspect as he entered the store. The suspect, described as a white male in his 40’s, implied that he had a gun, although no gun was seen, according to detectives.
He took cash and the cash register drawer from the store.
The suspect is about 6’1”, with a medium/muscular build and a shaved head.
He was seen wearing a black t-shirt, black shorts and white tennis shoes.
The suspect fled the scene in a white pickup truck.
The pickup truck's bed had been removed and replaced with a flatbed.
