SARASOTA, Fla. - The Sarasota Police Department arrested 11 in a prostitution sting.
The police conducted a series of undercover prostitution investigations on January 15th. Officers targeted two locations, 42nd Street and N. Tamiami Trail and the 600 block of N. Washington Boulevard, responding to community concerns over prostitution.
Officers arrested 11 people during the operation.
They attempted to arrest a twelfth individual, but that suspect fled in a vehicle.
