Parrish girl, father dead in apparent murder-suicide

NEW BAVERIA, Ohio - A 10-year-old Parrish girl has died in an apparent murder-suicide in Ohio. The bodies of the girl and her father were found in a vehicle Monday on a rural road. Authorities say the deaths may have been the result of a custody dispute.
The father and daughter are identified Timothy R Brown, 47, and Alexandra Brown.
Deputies responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in New Baveria, 55 miles southwest of Toledo, around 10:45 a.m.
Both bodies had gunshot wounds and a 9mm handgun was found at the scene.
Autopsies were scheduled for Tuesday at the Lucas County Coroner's Office.
Parrish, Fla. is located in Manatee County.
