PALMETTO, Fla. - A 69-year-old Palmetto woman is safe after a man showed up on her door step, with a rifle, asking for cash.
The woman said she was talking with another person inside her home on US 41 Sunday afternoon, when someone knocked.
When she opened her front door, the armed suspect demanded money.
She asked the man "what money?" and the suspect ran away.
He didn't fire any shots, and no one was hurt, but the victim called police.
Authorities tried to track him down using k-9 units, but came up empty handed.
