Manatee County provides back to school information phone line for parents

MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. - Manatee parents preparing for the back to school season will be getting some extra assistance from the school board with a special Parent Information Phone line.

Starting August 9, parents will be able to call the phone line for inquiries regarding school registration, school zones, bus stop locations, home education and other issues associated with the new school year.

The number for general information is (941) 708-4971 and the number for bus transportation is (941) 781-1287.

The phone line will be available from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from August 9 until August 24.

The transportation line will be available from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., from August 9 until August 19 and from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. August 22 until August 24.
