Family searching for missing boater, Manatee officials say

MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. - Manatee officials are asking for information leading to the whereabouts of a boater who went missing some time Sunday afternoon.

Jill Mullins arrived at her Bradenton home on 43rd Ave E when she noticed her husband Patrick Mullins was not home.  His boat, a 16-foot Stump Knocker was also missing.

She contacted Patrick’s brother and he went out in a boat to look for the man, and was unable to find him.

The boat was found near Egmont Key on Monday afternoon, but Patrick Mullins was not in the boat.
