MANATEE COUNTY - Deputies say a suspect forced his way inside a Bradenton home after ringing the doorbell Wednesday night.
The incident happened at a home on Fairfax Drive shortly after 9:00 last night.
Deputies say the victim had just returned home from dinner when someone rang her doorbell. When she looked outside, she didn't see anyone.. But when she opened the door, the suspect allegedly pushed his way in and demanded money and other items.
The suspect forced the victim into her closet before leaving.
Deputies describe the suspect as an African American man, between 5’6” and 5’8” with a medium build and dread locks. He was wearing a green t-shirt and jeans.
