HOLMES BEACH, Fla. - The Holmes Beach Police Department is looking for a male burglary suspect who was caught trying to cash a stolen check posing as a woman.
According to Detective Sergeant Brian Hall, a woman's vehicle was broken into back in February at the beach. The window was reportedly smashed out, and the victim's purse and contents were stolen.
On May 17, a cross-dressing man (possibly Hispanic) was caught on a bank's security camera attempting to use the victim's stolen license in order to get cash.
Anyone with leads on this investigation is asked to contact the Holmes Beach Police Department at 941-708-5807.
