MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. - Manatee County deputies are searching for the suspect that used a stun gun on a convenience store employee even though the victim complied with his demands, according to a release.
Christopher Segui was working at the Circle K on 55 th Avenue E when the suspect walked into the store with a bandana covering his face at 3:10 a.m.
The suspect approached Segui behind the counter and demanded money from the register.
Segui took the $50 inside the register and placed it in a Circle K bag. After the suspect got the money, he shot the stun gun, hitting Segui in the left hand, left forearm and left side for no apparent reason, authorities said.
Segui wasn’t seriously injured.
The suspect fled out of the west door of the business. Authorities could not find the suspect after setting up a perimeter.
The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male, 5’8” and 200 lbs.
He was wearing a black ball cap, a purple bandana covering face, a black short sleeve shirt with a long gray shirt underneath, black sweat pants with gray stripes and black gloves. He also had a blemish near his right eye.
