BRADENTON - Deputies are searching for the suspect accused of strangling his girlfriend after an argument began in a Bradenton parking lot.
The victim was driving with her boyfriend 38-year-old Christopher Murrell, when the two began arguing about 2:10 Thursday morning.
The woman said she got out of the car at a parking lot on the 4600 block of 14 th Street West and began to walk away.
Murrell caught up with the victim and grabbed her around the neck with his arm, demanding money.
She gave him money, then he ran away.
The victim called Manatee County deputies and officials searched for the suspect, but he couldn’t be found.
The victim wasn’t seriously injured.
Officials are continuing to investigate the incident.
