Twenty-two-year-old Bradenton woman arrested for battering 74-year-old boyfriend

Bradenton, FL - A 22-year-old Bradenton woman attacked her 74-year-old boyfriend who was recovering from triple bypass heart surgery, Manatee County Sheriff's deputies said.

Sierra Chaffin was charged with one count of battery on a victim older than 65-years-old, according to the arrest report.

The report says, "Both the defendant and the victim agreed that they had a physical intimate relationship and are currently residing together."

The report goes on to say Chaffin decided to move her belongings out of the home they share. The victim allegedly blocked the doorway and Chaffin shoved him in the stomach to move him out of the way, deputies said.

The assault was witnessed by the 74-year-old victim's physical therapist, who had arrived at the home to evaluate the victim following open heart surgery. The victim told deputies he had a triple bypass operation.

The victim was not seriously injured
