BRADENTON, Fla. - Detectives are looking for the suspects who fatally shot an 18-year-old man inside a Bradenton apartment Saturday night.
According to the Manatee Sheriff's Office, Joseph Evans and 2 other people were sitting inside a home in the 6000 block of 1st Street East, when they saw two men looking through their window just after 8 p.m.
The pair fired approximately 8-10 shots at the victim, with at least 3 hitting him in his right side and back, investigators said. Evans was unconscious when he was flown to Bayfront Medical Center, and he died about 30 minutes later, investigators said.
No one else inside the apartment was hurt. Witnesses said the suspects looked directly after the victim before he was shot.
