Cab driver lured, robbed at gunpoint in Bradenton

BRADENTON - Authorities are searching for two male suspects who robbed a cab driver at gun point in Bradenton late Monday night.

The driver was called to the 800 lock of 59 ^th Avenue Drive West at 11:30 p.m.

When he arrived, one of the suspects pointed a gun at him and took his money.

Both suspects ran away after the crime. Units and a K-9 responded, but couldn’t find the suspects.

The armed suspect is described as a dark-skinned male, possibly black, in his late teens, 5’9” to 5’11” and 150 to 170 lbs.

He was wearing a black hoodie. The second suspect is described as a skinny Hispanic male who is possibly 13 to 15 years old.

The investigation is ongoing.
