BRADENTON, Fla. - "It all just happened so quick," Tyler Robinson recalled. He says he was just minding his own business jogging at G.T. Bray park in Bradenton on Thursday night when three complete strangers beat him up and left him on the ground unconscious.
"I felt one of them kick me in the side of the ribs," recalled Robinson. "I got hit in the back of the head and that was really the last thing I could remember."
Robinson says he woke up on the ground several minutes later suffering from what doctors would later tell him was a concussion, severe swelling, and facial contusions.
It has been a few days, and Robinson has healed quite a bit. However, the painful fact remains - his attackers are still out there and he has no idea why they did what they did.
"I wouldn't be surprised if something like this happens again," said Robinson.
The Bradenton Police Department is investigating this case. Anyone with information about the incident or the three suspects should call Detective Dennis French at (941) 932-9300.
