BRADENTON, Fla. - Manatee deputies have arrested eight people, including a 12-year-old boy, on a number of drug charges.
According to a statement, detectives made drug purchases in and around a home at 3619 19th Street East in Bradenton.
On Friday, they obtained a search warrant and raided the residence and seized oxycodone, rock, cocaine and marijuana with about $1,600. The rifles and a stolen handgun were also seized.
The 12-year-old was charged with selling rock cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school, identified as Samoset Elementary.
Six other suspects are still being sought. Of those arrested so far, the oldest is 52.
