BRADENTON, Fla. - The Bradenton Police Department is looking for a 21-year-old man who may have information regarding a 17-year-old juvenile who was shot in the head.
According to Captain Warren Merriman, officers responded to a home located in the 500 block of 2nd Avenue East on Saturday shortly after 6:30 p.m.
Prior to responding on scene, the unidentified victim was driven to the Manatee Memorial Hospital Emergency Room, where an unknown person turned them over to medical personnel, then fled the scene by unknown means. The victim is reportedly in critical condition.
Initially, three people were reportedly detained at the scene, interviewed, then released from the scene - with the exception of Keith V. Brooks, 21, who was arrested on an outstanding bench warrant out of Sarasota County for Failure to Appear (Driving While License Suspended).
Police are now seeking to locate 21-year-old Kwame J. Henri in regards to the incident.
