POLK COUNTY, Fla. - A woman’s credit and identity may be in jeopardy after a suspect or suspects broke into her vehicle and stole her credit cards Wednesday.
Around 11:30 p.m., an unidentified suspect or suspects broke into a vehicle that was parked at the Lake Marie Park in Dundee and took several of the victim's personal belongings, including credit cards, Polk County Sheriff’s detectives said.
Soon after, the victim’s credit card was used to purchase gas at a BP gas station on Havendale Blvd in Winter Haven.
An unidentified woman who was in the suspect's truck at the BP gas station came into the store and bought a drink. Detectives are trying to identify the woman from her image which was captured on surveillance video.
