Two women found murdered in Polk County

POLK COUNTY, Fla. - Two women were found murdered in Polk County Tuesday morning. The killings are completely unrelated, according to a sheriff's statement.
Alicia Nicole McDonald, 22, was found murdered in a car at the end of a cul-de-sac on Varner Drive in Winter Haven just after 5 a.m.
Then around 7:40 a.m., Gloria Helfrich was found dead in a home on Wales Street in Lake Wales. The suspect, Jasper Aristotle Smiddie, is the woman's grandson who lived with her. He is on the run, believed to be in Gloria's silver 2006 Toyota Rav-4 SUV, with Florida tag N59 9GP.
