POLK COUNTY, Fla. - A Polk County school secretary is charged with five counts of unlawful sex with a high school student.
Trina Rocker, 41, was arrested Monday. Detectives say she had a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old student from Landmark Christian high School in Haines City where she worked as a secretary.
The relationship came to light after being discovered by the victim's parents. When confronted, the teen victim admitted to the affair.
The relationship began in November 2011 and ended in May 2012, according to the statement. The victim has graduated from the school and no longer has contact with Rocker.
Rocker was booked into the Polk County Jail on five counts of Unlawful Sex with a Minor and held without bond.
