Polk County deputies investigating after patron with breathing problem died in bar

POLK COUNTY, Fla. - Polk County detectives are conducting a death investigation after a bar patron died at Country Club Liquor Lounge in Bowling Green early Friday morning.
Deputies responded to the bar, located at 2245 US Highway 17, in response to a report of someone who wasn’t breathing.
Preliminary information indicates that the victim, along with other people in the bar, were involved in a disturbance at the business earlier Thursday night.
No further details are available at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
