POLK COUNTY, Fla. - An overturned gravel truck on State Road 60 has slowed down traffic to a snail’s pace.
The gravel truck was carrying a full load when a tire blew out, leading the vehicle to fall and coat the road with gravel, according to Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
Approximately five miles west of Bartow, SR 60 only has one lane in the westbound and north bound direction.
The area is expected to be extremely congested and slow moving for several hours as crews remove the gravel and the truck.
No injuries have been reported.
