Two suspects arrested in NW Lakeland murder

Police have charged two suspects with murder after a robbery victim was found shot to death in a northwest Lakeland street early Wednesday.
Officers heard gunshots in the area of Bassanda Circle around 1:30 a.m. A witness approached them and described seeing a white Toyota Camry leaving the area, according to a police statement.
A short time later, the officers found a shooting victim who was pronounced dead at the scene. He's identified as 29-year-old Gracia Rosius.
Officers then located a white Toyota and arrested Antonio Maurice McClain, 29, and Vartius Monyard Montgomery, 27. A gun was found inside the car.
Both are charged with Felony Murder with a Firearm, Armed Robbery with a Firearm, and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
They were to be booked into the Polk County Jail.
