Police investigating after Lakeland man shot in chest

LAKELAND, Fla. - Lakeland Police are at the scene of a possibly life threatening shooting that happened early Tuesday morning.
Authorities responded to 1232 N. Virginia Avenue after a man his shot in the chest about 3:50 a.m.
The victim was transported to the hospital.
His current condition is unknown.
