Pickup truck crashes into Lakeland Rent A Wheel

LAKELAND, Fla. - Lakeland police say a medical issue caused the driver of a pickup truck to crash into a building.
It happened Sunday around 4:15 a.m. at a Rent A Wheel located on the corner of Lakeshore Drive and Memorial Boulevard.
Officials say the truck was traveling northwest when the driver suffered from an unknown medical issue and struck the building.
He was taken to Lakeland Regional Medical Center for evaluation, and is not being cited in the accident.
