12-year-old boy shot in drive-by on porch, Lakeland Police investigating

LAKELAND, Fla. - A 12-year-old boy is recovering from injuries after he was shot on the porch of her Lakeland home Monday night, police say.

Officers responded to a shooting at a home on the 600 block of W 3 ^rd Street.

They learned that 12-year-old Aleek Saint-Aime and his cousin were on the porch of a home when a possible 90’s Black and Silver SUV drove by and a suspect or suspects fired shots.

The vehicle fled the scene.

The bullets struck the residence and Saint-Aime was ht several times. He was taken to Lakeland Regional Medical Center by his aunt. He is in stable condition.

Lakeland detectives are investigating the incident. No suspects are in custody at this time.
