HAINES CITY, Fla. - A high school secretary in Polk County is behind bars, accused of having sex with a student.

Investigators say 41 year-old Trina Rocker had sex with a 17 year-old student on five occasions between November 2011 and May 2012  while working at Landmark Baptist Christian High School, in Haines City.

A Polk County arrest affidavit states the victim's parents found out, then confronted the teen, who admitted it. The allegations come as a shock to school officials.

Dr. Mickey Carter, the school's Pastor, says Rocker worked at the school for two to three years and her family attends Landmark Baptist Church.

Dr. Carter says he hasn't talked to the students yet because it's such a sensitive issue.  "We would probably not take the whole student body because the young ones, it might not be proper.  So we will have to make a statement to them as the information comes to us."  Dr. Carter added, "She conducted herself properly. She's a mother of kids and a good husband who was employed with us before."

Latosha Jasper attended bible study at Landmark Baptist. She says she always informs her kids to be cautious. Jasper said, "Protect yourself. If you see somebody touching you or putting their arms around you inappropriately and you know it's not right, tell someone."

We're told the victim graduated from the school in May and investigators say the teen has not had any contact with the suspect since then.

Dr. Carter tells me the school conducts background checks before staff are hired and Rocker's history was clean. The school has been open for four decades and he says something like this has never happened there.

Tonight, Rocker is in the Polk County Jail, on $5,000 bond.
