Police: Dad calls 911 on Jeffrey Krug after he met 16-year-old on dating site, slept with her

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. - A Davenport man is facing multiple charges after sleeping with an underage girl he met on a dating website, according to a police release.

Police found out about the relationship by the victim’s father on Wednesday.

He told police that 27-year-old Jeffrey Krug met his 16-year-old daughter on the dating site MeetMio.com.

Krug reportedly started pursing the girl, sending her photos of himself naked.

During the first week of January, Krug traveled to Winter Haven to meet the victim near her home. They had sex inside of Krug’s car on the side of the road, according to the report.

The victim’s father confronted the suspect on the phone and Krug admitted that he did sleep with the victim.

Krug was arrested at this home on Thursday, located at 302 Montana Ave. in Davenport.

He was booked into the Polk county Jail on two counts of Sexual Activity with a Minor.
