PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. - Two wildlife preserves in Pinellas County are offering free guided nature hikes Saturday morning.

Weedon Island Preserve - located at 1800 Weedon Drive NE in St. Petersburg - offers a free hike starting at 9 a.m.  

Brooker Creek Preserve - located at 3940 Keystone Road in Tarpon Springs - offers a free hike starting at 10:30 a.m.  

Be sure to wear close-toed shoes, and bring water and a hat. This activity is recommended for ages six and older.

Both preserves offer many free outdoor and educational activities for families, as well as lots of summer events.
