Pinellas County Health Department offering free dental care for children and teenagers

Some of the health care proposals would require plans that include dental coverage for kids.

PINELLAS COUNTY - The Pinellas County Health Department is giving away free dental car for children and teenagers between the ages of 4 and 18 years of age.

"There is a great need for kids to get the care they need especially before school starts," said Maggie Hall, spokesperson for the health department.

People can choose from the following locations:

 

 

  • July 14, in Clearwater, 12420 130th Avenue North. Phone (727) 469-5800, extension 121.
  • July 21, in Tarpon Springs, 301 South Disston Avenue. Phone (727) 942-5457, extension 111.
  • July 28, in Pinellas Park, 6350 76th Avenue North. Phone (727) 547-7780, extension 103.
  • August 4, in St. Petersburg. 205 Dr. Martin Luther King Junior Street North. Phone (727) 824-6975

 

Children and teens must be residents of Pinellas County, except at the Tarpon Springs location, where residents of Pasco and Hillsborough will also be seen.

 

A parent or guardian must be accompany the child or teen.

No appointments are necessary.
