A local ballroom dance studio aims to raise $25,000 for the American Cancer Society Pinellas Chapter in advance of Breast Cancer Awareness month.

The Fred Astaire Dance Studio is hosting an American Cancer Society 24-Hour Dance-A-Thon where students will learn and dance for the entire time.

It kicks off Friday, September 21 at 12 p.m. until they run out of lessons to teach.

Group Sessions are $15 a person per class. Classes available at: 1:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 9 p.m.
