A multi-vehicle accident on State Road 54 in Zephyrhills, Fla., killed 3 people and critically injured three others.

ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. - Florida Highway Patrol troopers responded to a deadly vehicle crash in Zephyrhills Sunday morning.
It happened just before 11 a.m. on State Road 54 westbound.
According to Florida High Patrol, a Toyota coup heading westbound on State Road 54 clipped the back end of a Volkswagon sedan in front of it, lost control and careened into oncoming traffic.
A Toyota sedan heading eastbound collided head on with the coup, killing Charles Anken, 78, from NY, Georgianna Anken, 77, from NY and Lavon Hartman, 90, from Zephyrhills, Fl.
The driver of the Toyota coup, Dustin Diaz, 22, is still in critical condition at St. Joe's. Diaz was not wearing a seatbelt according to Highway Patrol.
The driver of the Toyota sedan, Wayne Laribee, 75, from NY, and passenger, Elizabeth Laribee, 70, from NY, were transported to Tampa General Hospital where both were listed in critical condition.
Everyone inside of the Volkswagon survived the accident with no injuries.
All lanes of SR-54 were back open as of Sunday afternoon.
