WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. - A three-car crash closed northbound Interstate 75 just south of the exit for State Road 54 in Wesley Chapel for hours.
It appears that a 2008 Honda Civic driven by a 17-year-old female traveling southbound crossed over into the northbound lanes, striking at least two other vehicles.
All parties involved received injuries.
The driver of the Civic is in critical condition at St. Joseph's hospital.
Kyle Eugene Mansfield, 25, was driving a 2012 Chevy pickup truck, and was taken to Florida Hospital Zephyrhills. He is in serious condition.
Christina L. Penner, 46, was driving a 2000 Ford Ranger, and was treated at the scene.
