One killed in small plane crash in Pasco County

WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. - A Tennessee man has died after his plane crashed near State Road 512 at Ehrin Cutoff Rd. in a rural part of Pasco County.

The plane took off Sunday evening from a small private airport, just north of Tampa, and cell phone records indicate he crashed about four miles after takeoff.

Harold Cameron MacManus, of TennesseeĀ  was killed in the crash.

MacManus, 59, was the brother of USF political science professor Susan MacManus.
