WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. - A daycare employee accused of dragging and dropping a toddler on concrete was arrested Tuesday, the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office said.
According to authorities, Discovery Point Daycare employee Barbara Bridges was excessively rough with the children, especially a 2-year-old boy.
Witnesses say they saw Bridges, 54, drag the toddler across the floor and fling him against the wall on several different occasions.
Bridges is also accused of dropping the toddler into his crib from two to three feet in the air and also dropping him on concrete.
Bridges has been charged with child neglect.
