PORT RICHEY, Fla. - One Port Richey Council member says he wants to know more about the "medical condition" that City Manager Tom O'Neill says caused him to pass out behind the wheel three weeks ago.
During Tuesday night's Port Richey council meeting, Terrance Rowe voiced concern over both an ongoing DUI investigation and whether the medical condition O'Neill says he suffered that night could affect his job.
Other council members said they wanted to wait on the State Attorney's investigation before considering any action.
The Pinellas-Pasco State Attorney expects to get O'Neill's hospital records this week.
The city manager, who smelled of alcohol, was not charged with drunk driving, but taken to Morton Plant North Bay Hospital for a medical evaluation.
