PORT RICHEY, Fla. - A man pulled over for his tinted windows Wednesday morning faces multiple charges after police found $20,000 worth of drugs in his vehicle.

According to the Port Richey Police Department, Officer Justin Lee pulled over Frederick Kokaram’s Mitsubishi at 10:30 a.m. because his car's window tint exceeded the Florida limits.

When the officer searched the vehicle, approximately 228.5 grams of marijuana, 11.7 grams of crack cocaine and a pill bottle containing 3.5 pills of oxycodone were found. The street value of the drugs was worth approximately $20,000.

Scales used to weigh the marijuana, plastic bags commonly used to package drugs in street level sales and $933.00 cash were also in the car.

Kokaram was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.

Kokaram was also cited for the tint violation.
