DADE CITY, Fla. - Pasco County holds a special primary election Tuesday to fill the seat once held by former state Rep. Mike Fasano. Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Three Republicans are on the ballot: Presbyterian minister Bill Gunter, New Port Richey insurance agency executive Jeromy Harding, and Pasco County GOP Chairman James Mathieu.
The winner of today's election will advance to take on Democrat Amanda Murphy in the October 15 general election.
Only registered Republicans living in State House District 36 can vote in today's special election.
