Two shot in New Port Richey, three suspects at large

NEW PORT RICHEY - Police are searching for two men and one woman accused of shooting two people in New Port Richey overnight.

The shooting happened about 9:10 Wednesday on the 5600 block of US 19.

The suspects fled in an unknown direction while one of the victims ran to a nearby Dunkin Donuts at Gulf Drive to call 911. The second victim ran to a nearby street.

Both victims were taken to Bayonet Point Regional Medical Center Hospital for treatment for injurires considered non-life threatening.

The suspects are described as two white men and one white women, all in their early 20’s. The suspect vehicle was described as a beige or tan model Buick.
