NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. - A New Port Richey man was arrested Sunday night after he allegedly bit a five-month-old and threatened the mother with a knife.

According to an arrest report, Matthew Barbosa, 21, was arrested after he and the baby's mother began arguing over the baby crying. Police say Barbosa placed his hands around the throat of the woman and pushed her before picking up a knife and threatening her with it.
