HUDSON, Fla. - Pasco County Sheriff deputies are investigating an attempted robbery at Justice Coin in New Port Richey Sunday.

Wayne Justice, the store owner, was stabbed when the suspect entered his store.

Once the suspect stabbed Justice, he pulled a gun and shot the suspect, Jacob Stanborn, 25, in the chest.

Stanborn died in front of the store from the gun shot wound.

Justice's injuries were not life threatening.

Deputies reported that Stanborn and Justice knew each other through the store.

No charges are expected in the case.
