HUDSON - A Hudson man is accused of bashing a dog’s head in with a bottle, killing the animal during a domestic dispute Tuesday.
Deputies say 49-year-old David Crivelli was in a physical fight with his girlfriend, punching her in the face several times.
The couple’s 20 pound Jack Russel dog was barking during the argument. Crivelli beat the dog to death with a champagne bottle, officials say.
He then buried the dog in the front yard inside a pillow case.
Crivelli was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon.
He has been charged with domestic battery and cruelty to animals.
