Pedestrian crossing US 19 hit by SUV dies

HOLIDAY, Fla. - A man crossing the highway in Holiday, Fla., died after getting hit by a vehicle early Wednesday morning.
The Florida Highway Patrol says the accident happened at the intersection of US 19 and Panorama Avenue just before 1:30 a.m.
The victim was walking across US 19 when an SUV driving northbound hit him.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers says the victim was not wearing any reflective clothing.
The incident is under investigation and charges are pending.
