PASCO COUNTY, Fla. - A New Port Richey man was arrested Thursday after bomb threats were made against two Pasco County schools.  The threats turned out to be hoaxes.

Chad Allen Key was arrested by the New Port Richey Police Department and the Pasco Sheriff's Office for two counts of False Report of Planting a Bomb and two counts of Disruption of Education Institution.

The threats against Richey Elementary and Chasco Elementary were received by the New Port Richey Police Department shortly after 9 a.m.

Investigators determined where the calls originated and went to Key's home at 7849 Raintree Drive, New Port Richey around 11 a.m., according to a statement.

 Keys, 38,  was arrested after being questioned by detectives.
