PASCO COUNTY, Fla - A 5-year-old Cadence Walters, who was not wearing a seat belt, died in a roll over car accident last night in Pasco County. The driver and two other children in the car were seriously injured.

The single car accident happened around 6:30 p.m. last night on I-75 North Bound in Pasco County between State Road 52 and State Road 54.

The Florida Highway Patrol says 25-year-old Kimberly Scarberry of St. Petersburg was driving a 1995 Ford Explorer when the tire blew out, causing her to loose control of her car.

The SUV turned over several times before coming to a rest in the center median.

Kimberly Scarberry and passengers 9-year-old Damitri Scarberry and 7-year-old Flynn Carter were transported to St. Joseph’s hospital and are all listed in serious condition.

According to the accident report, Kimberly Scarberry was wearing a seatbelt.
