TAMPA BAY - Officials are investigating a deputy-involved crashes that happened in Port Richey and Hillsborough Wednesday morning.
The Port Richey crash happened on US 19 and SR-52 just after 5:30 a.m. , officials say.
The deputy is believed to be okay, but the other driver involved was transported to the hospital with injuries.
There was no word on the victim's condition.
The south bound lane of US 19 at SR-52 is blocked.
The second crash happened in Lithia by Pinecrest Road and Dixon Estates Drive, involving a Plant City officer. No injuries were reported.
